Jodi also video-taped cast calls for acclaimed writer/director Nora Ephron.

Soon thereafter, Jodi got into USC's prestigious Film School in pursuit of her Masters in Film. After writing, directing and producing over 8 shorts, and being the first woman at USC to direct a USC-sponsored television sitcom pilot overseen by "Laugh-In's" Emmy-award winning director Mark Warren, Jodi went on to work on her Master thesis film as writer, director and editor. The film, "Big Bucks for Buddha," won Jodi the Director's Guild Award for best student woman director.

She landed a permanent Assistant Editing position at Fox Studios, specifically Fox's Promo division for Latin America, where Jodi assistant edited promos for top shows such as "King of the Hill," "The X-Files," The Simpsons," and "Dharma and Greg" - the Spanish and Portuguese language versions.

Jodi held on to her dream of becoming a successful writer and filmmaker. After completing an original "Seinfeld" episode on spec, Jodi secured a television agent and her script made the rounds in Hollywood in the hope of landing a job as a sitcom writer.

Jodi also secured a Manager in her pursuit of landing writing and directing assignments for feature films.

Jodi recently got married and joined her husband in Silicon Valley to start a life together. She holds her dreams of a successful career in Hollywood in tact by writing her own comedic screenplays, children's books, novels, plays for the theatre, and sitcoms. With the creation of a varied and strong portfolio of work, Jodi hopes to continue to build her budding career.
