NO PAIN, NO GAIN: THE COMIC

Artist Billy Garretsen and "No Pain, No Gain" writer-producer-director Samuel Turcotte are collaborating to create a comic book based on the feature film. This exciting new comic will have the same basic characters and storyline as the film, but adapted to fit the medium of comics. Turcotte says "the world of bodybuilding is the perfect fit for a comic, because bodybuilders in many ways are real-life superheros."

Billy Garretsen, Artist

Garretsen is an artist and video game designer/animator. His prior work includes the game "Blade of Betrayal" for HPT Interactive which was awarded Action Game of 2003 for the pocketPC. Garretsen holds a B.A. in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin with a concentration in Transmedia Studies. In addition to the "No Pain, No Gain" comic, his current projects include "Blade of Betrayal: Special Edition" and "Blade of Betrayal 2."
